Membuka Pengetahuan Bersama, Masuki Kualitas Karya - SARASEHAN 2 WARLAMI 2016

Bekerjasama dengan Universitas Pekalongan dan dengan dukungan dari Bank BNI, pada tangal 7-9 November 2016 WARLAMI menggelar Sarasehan ke-2 di Pekalongan. Berbeda dengan sarasehan pertama tahun sebelumnya, Sarasehan kali ini berjalan jauh lebih hangat dengan antusisme peserta yang cukup tinggi dengan durasi acara yang lebih panjang. Dihadiri sekitar 40 penggiat Warlami dari berbagai kota di Pulau Jawa , Sarasehan mengambil tema Peningkatan Kualitas Batik Pewarnaan Alami – Membuka Pengetahuan Bersama Masuki Era Kualitas Karya.
Hadir dan membuka acara ini wakil dari Direktur Sandang Kementerian Perindustrian RI juga Rektor Universitas Pekalongan, Perwakilan Bank BNI serta pengurus dan anggota Warlami khususnya yang bergerak di bidang batik warna alam. Rangkaian acara sarasehan ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Batik Univeritsa Pekalongan, di Hotel Sidji dan di work shop Zahir Widadi di Kelurahan Notontaan Pekalongan.
Dalam sambutannya Ketua Warlami Myra Widiono menyampaikan bahwa agar lebih diterima oleh masyarakat luar dan mampu bersanding dengan batik pewarna sintetis, makan kualitas warna mauopun motif batik warna alam harus terus ditingkatkan. Hal sejalan dengan orientasi program perkumpulan yang telah dicanangkan Warlami bahwa dalam tahun-tahun ini hingga tahun 2017, organisasi ini akan memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar pada pengingkatan kualitas. Yaitu meliputi hasil karya para perajinnya baik untuk perajin batik, tenun maupun lainnya. Kusus untuk batik warna alami di tahun 2016 menjadi salah satu mata kerajinan yang menjadi perhatian utama. MElaluio sarasehan 2 tahun 2016 ada dua aspek kualitas yang mencoba hendak dibangkitkan, yaitu kualitas warna dan kualitas motifnya.
Memberikan materi mengenai kualitas warna alam Indigo, Zahir Widadi, SH, M.Hum. Dekan Fakultas Batik Universtiats Pekalongan yang sekaligus peneliti dan praktisi pewarna alam khususnya indigofera. Pada sesi yang lain pengajar senior Universitas Bina Nusantara Lateev Haq menyampaikan materi Metode Dekonstruksi Visual Motif Batik Klasik. Dialog tentang baik mengenai kualitas warna maupun motif lebih bayak diwarnai dengan bedah kasus. Berbagai persoalan pewarnaan dan pengembangan motif batik untuk warna alam diungkapkan peserta. Dialog berjalan cukup bergairah.
Dialog dan diskusi berjalan siang dan dilanjutkan malam hari dengan beberapa materi tambahan seperti mengenai akses pembiayaan yang disampaikan oleh Bank BNI.
Beberapa pemateri tambahan mengulas mengenai batik Jawa Barat dan mengenai Bahan baku.

In collaboration with the University of Pekalongan and with the support of Bank BNI, on the date at 7-9 November 2016 WARLAMI held the 2nd Workshop in Pekalongan. Unlike the first workshop previous year's, Workshop this time goes much warmer with the enthusiasm of participants is high enough to show a longer duration. Attended by about 40 Warlami activists from various cities in Java, Workshop on the theme Improving the Quality of Natural Dyes Batik – Opening the Shared Knowledge Experiencing the Quality of Work.
Present and opening the event representatives Clothing Director of the Ministry of Industry Republic of Indonesia also Rector of the University of Pekalongan, representative of Bank BNI as well as the official executives and members Warlami particularly those who are working in the field of natural dyes batik. The event was held at the Faculty of Batik University of Pekalongan, at Sidji Hotel and in the Zahir Widadi workshop in the Notontaan Pekalongan Village.
In her speech, Chairman of Warlami Myra Widiono said that in order to be accepted by the outside community and able to be coupled with a synthetic dyes batik, then dyes quality nor natural dyes batik motive should be improved. It is in line with the programs orientation of associations that have been being implemented by Warlami that in the years until 2017, this organization will give greater attention to the improvement quality. That includes the work of the craftsmen such for batik crafters, weaving and others. Specially for natural dyes batik in 2016 became one of the craft that is a major concern. Through the workshop 2 in 2016 there were two aspects of quality that tries about to be raised, namely the quality of the dyes and quality of the motive.
Providing material about the quality of the Indigo natural dyes, Zahir Widadi, SH, M. Hum. Dean of the Faculty of Batik University of Pekalongan which his also as a researcher and practitioners of natural dyes in particular indigofera. In another session senior lecturer of Bina Nusantara University, Lateev Haq, delivered the material of Visual Deconstruction Method of Classics Batik Motive. The dialogue about both the quality of the dyes including motif more tinged with case study. Various staining problems and development of batik motive for natural dyes commented by the member. The dialog running quite passionate.
Dialogue and discussion starting from day until night with some additional material such as the access to financing presented by Bank BNI.
Some additional presenters review regarding West Java batik and the raw materials.
